In 2013 we produced a 30-second spot for Brotherhood Mutual that highlighted clients’ ability to save money by using Brotherhood’s new Ministry Works product. The video featured three clients responding to the question, “What would you do with more?”

This year they wanted to expand on that same theme. However, instead of showcasing potential dollars saved they wanted to pay homage to the ministry work that thousands of their clients do on a daily basis.

Making a Splash

One of the joys of being filmmakers is getting the occasional chance to pretend we’re in college again – acting like hooligans. So when the Fort Wayne Curling Club came to us and said they wanted to produce a TV commercial to air during the Winter Olympics, and that we had total creative freedom, we knew it was one of those opportunities.

Last Friday evening, we invited the community into our space for an open house. O’ Sister Brother played as people filtered in and out of the studio, eating, talking, and playing around in our slow-motion video booth.

We were stoked to share our work with everyone, and even happier to host such a fun event. Here’s a timelapse we shot from high above the bar to capture the evening. Thanks to everyone who came out and made our first event a success.

Debt Reduction in Motion

Questa is a non-profit based in Fort Wayne that seeks to retain college graduates in Northeast Indiana, using low-interest, forgivable loans that help individuals further their education with less debt.

This piece will serve as the informational introduction to the program. It will be shown at schools, in meetings, and on Questa’s website. We also created several testimonials that will help personalize Questa’s story.

Getting Down to Business (Cards)

We recently commissioned local Graphic Designer, Katie Fox, to create custom branding materials for Anchor Films. We love Katie’s design sense and the classic style she incorporated into her own branding for Brilliant Fox, and were thrilled to see what she would whip up!

Katie walked us through the entire process from various design styles to color choices to paper stock options. She did a wonderful job learning about the identity of Anchor Films, and truly captured the essence we hoped to convey in our brand.

We Didn’t Start This Fire

There was a massive fire right behind Anchor Films’ studio on Monday, August 19th, 2013. Close to 100 firefighters fought to contain it from 2 p.m. Monday until early Tuesday morning. We were relieved to hear no one was harmed during the fire, and we appreciate all the hard work the emergency responders did to keep the blaze from consuming even more buildings.

‘All it Takes is One Visit’

Over the last couple of months, Anchor Films had the opportunity to collaborate with Indiana Wesleyan University on a series of promotional films for their admissions department. IWU wanted to create seven films focusing on the institution’s academic excellence and student outcomes. The end goal was to encourage prospective students to visit campus. In order to make this happen it was important for the films to have a personal and authentic feel.
